Developed by Sling TV, L.L.C, Sling TV app allows users to watch live TV on multiple mobile devices with many channels to choose from including ESPN, AMC, TNT, CNN, History, HGTV, the Disney Channel and more.

Sling TV app is available for free both on Android and iOS platforms. It provides several packages containing different amounts of channels. Users can start with $20 per month for a package of about 30 TV channels, including ESPN, AMC, TNT, TBS, CNN and other popular channels. You can pay more to get up to 300 channels.

Features

The subscription price is fairly inexpensive and requires no contract.

You can pay for your favorite channels only and cut the cable off.

There's a “What’s On” section, so you can see what’s on live now.

Some channels have features like pause, rewind and fast forward, but it doesn't work on ESPN, TBS or TNT.

The "3-Day Replay" feature enables users to access content on the given channels during the past three days. It’s not available on all the channels.

The “Start Over” function enables you to jump back to the beginning of a program.

About Sling TV

As a subsidiary of Dish Network, the satellite provider, Sling TV service doesn't require a Dish subscription because it's operated as an entirely separate service. It allows users to watch TV channels by purchasing different packages. The difference is that it's delivered over the internet.
